Had a call from 07894865338 from someone asking for me by name and claiming to be from the Citizens Advice. I thought he was saying he had been contacted because I had reported a dead person, I asked him to repeat it, which he did. His accent was very thick and from seeing this site I think he was trying to say I had reported a debt problem !!! He hung anyway...

I was told to renew my Amazon Prime account forthwith or my bank account will be debited automatically. Interestingly I do not have an Amazon account.

I've had multiple calls from this number and each time I pick up they put down. I blocked the number but still it gets through??

Number is apparently registered to Jaywing, of Century Road, Swindown, UK. They are supposedly a Telephone Sales company...

Molly from Rapid Advice Service called regarding an accident I was apparently in (at least that explains the headache i ve assumed was due to these sort of idiot calls...). Asked where she received the information from but was transferred to Soloman. He in turn hung up when I said i d like copies of the information that he stated was supplied. In short, add the number to your block list.

Robo call: "We ve been informed that you were in an accident..." etc. etc.

spam re delayed flights compensation. claimed i m owed money even though i ve not been on a plane in said time frame.

No call received. This is a call back number in a letter purporting to come from HSBC Fraud & Security advising that my Visa Debit card had been blocked/ BEWARE !!!

Caller suggesting I could get some kind of personal compensation for a no fault bump which was settled a long time ago.

Rang numerous times to here, when answered there is a long silence, when a voice does enter the equation they were very rude to me and shouted down the phone why I wasnt listening.

Missed the call so tried to ring back but it just cuts off. Doesn t even ring.

Claimed to be HMRC, lies.

Only had 1 call from this number but having seen that 50+ searches had been made it I decided to call it late at night. An American-sounding voice thanked me for calling Verso ...

I just had a call from them & never picked it up. Assuming from all the comments on here, it sounds like it is Vodafone trying to get hold of the owner of all new phones to either check the service is ok or to check something else. I am surprised nobody else has clicked on to this yet......Doesn t sound too dodgy to me. Obviously Adrian has opted for no marketing calls from Carphone Warehouse themselves. This is a scam number from a telesales company. They want a return call.

Keeps calling my mobile I don t know number so disn t answer. No message left so wary

The caller sounded unprofessional and it was clear they were having a joke and banter as I could a lot of laughing in the background. They asked for the wrong surname so wouldn t surprise me that the caller was not concentrating.

Phone rang,when I answered my screen went blank & phone locked one minute then came back to normal

Called to say I had been working in a factory in Blackburn and had health issues. I asked what details they hold and specify the health issues - they could only confirm the name and mobile number. Very rude person & called back numerous times.

Just got a call from this number. I answered it and it just hung up...

Number unknown, which I usually ignore but as I m waiting for an overnight package I wondered if it was them calling re delivery, so I answered. It was a female caller with (what sounded like) a Chinese accent. She said she was calling on behalf of Telephone Preference Service. I didn t believe it and hung up - but they have rung another twice since then (4 hours ago.)
