Caller with an Asian accent was speaking to a client (I am a carer), kept asking if we knew who we had given out identifying details to, claimed to be from BT but became agitate...

Very aggressive attempt to interest me in IVA arrangements. They say they are calling everyone over 18. I said that must be about 40 million people, and how do they know I m over 18. She said that if I have a mobile contract I must be over 18. I said who says I have a mobile contract. I said I hadn t given permission for anyone to contact me on the number for marketing purposes. Heard a few beeps and I hung up. So used to hearing an Asian accent telling me my computer needs attention etc. Getting weary of it.

who is it

This number which is a Glasgow code, called and an indistinct, mumbled young female voice asked for me by name, said she was phoning from another mumbled company and had I had any accidents in my car in the last few years. I said no, and she said oh well then and hung up. Some kind of scam with bad line and mumbled names part of the act.

Some life insurance company. Told them I m registered with TPS, they can t have known what it meant cos he carried on. Now blocked!

Something like a company called CIH, asking if I'd had an accident in the last 2 and a half years. Don't know where they got my number from. Pain.

Keep leaving messages to phone back. Avoid they are a debt "management" company.
