Called office wanting to talk to our IT-manager. Was vague and did not introduce herself. After asking, she informed me she was calling from Dell, but gave no further comment. Since we are an Apple-only business and she was vague, my spider senses tells me to block this caller.

SCAM 01782259871 rang 29/07/23 09:22. Call centre from Microsoft. Told me I had a problem on my computer. This is an old scam! Told her I didn’t have a computer. Hung up and blocked number.

SCAM said they were from Amazon and asked me to download remote login app to secure my Amazon account. Were then asking me to logon to my online banking to check oli had received a refund from cancellation of Amazon prime £79.99 Luckily I ended the call and deleted the remote login app. Reported to Amazon and changed password

This is a scam number the called my uncle pretending to be from Amazon saying that they had taken £95 from his account by accident and if he gave them his details they would refund the money. Called asking for someone else by name. Told them they had the wrong number and I obviously didn’t sound like a woman (who they asked for). Asked who they were speaking to. Told them it was no concern of theirs who I was, but I am not the person they were after and I didn’t know anyone of that name. Could be genuine, but I don’t give my name to anyone over the phone that calls me out of the blue.
