This number has been calling our TPS registered landline at least once a day for the last several days. It s a recorded message offering us a free boiler, solar panels and loft insulation and wants us to press a number to claim, but doesn t give a "don t call me again" option. Getting very sick of it.
SCAM The guy calls and says the warranty on my 13 year old machine is expiring today and as its still in woorking order, they have an offer from £12pm to £9pm... Claims it is from a well known Telecom Company and Broadband provider (it is not). It is an attempt to get access to your computer. They will state that you have had broadband issues that they have picked this up from your hub (extremely unlikely, it is impossible to monitor every hub any ISP provides). It is an attempt to get remote access to your computer. ISP's do not use mobile numbers, they will always do a check as to who you are, these people do not even ask who you are as they do not know.

Advised they were from the National Crime Agency and requested i selected and option. Sounded suspicious so i hung up. Nothing reported previously. NCA confirmed it's a scan and they are aware.
Called today just before 11.00 am. As the number was unrecognised it was allowed to go to the answering machine.. Within a few seconds the call was terminated and no message was left.

A woman called Sarah from telephone blocking services called my elderly father asking him for bank details, which unfortunately he did give.That bank card has now been stopped. She then called my father 2 more times but threatened him that his BT telephone would be cut off if he he didn’t pay. Its my belief that this is a scam warn other family members not to give out any bank details to cold callers or anyone over the phone!
