After answering this number, it hangs on to my phone line until I wish to use the phone next - when it auto dials the number back. This happened with the same number a few months back and I was charged £3.50 by my provider.

Claimed to be from Trojan Telecom and to be calling to reduce my company s telephone bill. Trojan does exist but I doubt if it knows anything about this call. I dialled 1471 and was given the above number followed by a "please hang up" message, suggesting the number may well be fictitious.

Just received this call which said that I had installed something on my home phone number which was sounds or something. I put the phone down and did no more but this is not something I have requested and I think could be dangerous.
