Had a missed call. Called them back. It was a computer generated message that tells me the break down cover on my set top box is due to renew. But no details on who the caller is to tell if this is fake or not.
Got a call from this number with automated message saying “this call is from HMRC, if you don’t select option 1 then you’ll be arrested for fraud “.

This is a marketing call from a 'Neways' rep. They sell very good products for home and health which are very safe to use, but they are expensive.

Fraud - ignore all calls. This number called my grandmother today to say that she had been fraudulent and would be arrested if she did not comply. They will give you the ‘option’ to press 1 to sort it out. Highly recommend to ignore all calls and if you can add it to your block list. (01332846724)

Answered the mobile, as was expecting a call from a friend on a new number. Got an automated male voice, telling me it was from the national crime agency…..that was enough for me. Just had a call from this number, saying they were from the Debt Support Group and that I was due to reduce my outstanding payments on my debt!! When I told them that they were incorrect as I had no debt and I asked where they got my details from, they put the phone down. It really annoys me that these people have not got the decency to tell you where they received the information and give you the chance to ask them to remove your details from their database. Grrrrr!!!!
