This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. This guy claimed to be from the Telephone Preference Service but I recognised his voice from 3 calls last week, during the last of which he told me to F*** Off because i called him out. Always a different landline phone number. I know a lot of STD codes as i have worked in (genuine) sales for 40 years. Different codes, different parts of the country, same voice claiming to be from BT Openreach. On this occasion, when he said he was from the TPS and just replied "And?" and he hung up.
+44 1223 252910 and various similar numbers... SCAM - hangs up as soon as you answer. The scam is to get you to call the number back, at which point you will get charged ££££ - DON’T CALL BACK! Delete/block number on your phone. Bear in mind, if it was a genuinely important personal/business call for you, whoever it was will find a way to let you know.

This number appeared on the mobile phone claiming to be from HSBC asking to confirm new direct debit set up. We have never had an account with them.
Phones 4 or 5 times a day keeps telling me its a government scheme to help people out of debt. Must know something i dont as he was adament that i had high debts when i dont owe a penny.
