This no. Also called this morning when I was out, but I did 1471 to ascertain the phone number and read all your comments. It is very interesting that several of your comments relating to this number, I have just received in the past week, sometimes 3 or 4 times a day; such as the comment about it being a Californian compromise on the internet, but also supposedly BT IT Desk! Additional tel nos using the same type of scams are 0151 677 3594, 01159101830.

Had a call from a man who spoke with a Indian accent saying he was from sky .he wanted my date of birth so that he could send me a new sky viewing card I refused .Do not give your date of birth as this is another scam from dishonest people .BT need to prot

This is a company who has harassed us for call protect even though we formally cancelled our agreement with them. They are a menace and keep changing their number in order to contact us.

TV Guard called me today, offering to reduce 'my' monthly charge from £7 to £5. Caller claimed to be working "at the back of the Government" offering a nationwide service to everyone who owns a television. Obviously this is a scam, but if you didn't know better it sounded quite plausible. The caller offered me his name and extension number - no telephone number to go with it though!
