Company called generate calling about my car accident .

Asking me about RTAs then fishing for info. Confused as I have had a recent RTA, then told me about Car makes involved. Worried I have let myself into a trap! As I got another phone call from a number in Manchester 5 hours later!

Indian caller pretending that his name was Nigel and that he was from The call barring service . Knew surname of account holder and a partially correct address for the property (i.e. they d got the address from an address database, and not from us). Started a spiel about nuisance calls and how they want to get everyone onto the new government service - at which point I hung up on the shyster.

Axa Insurance; I received a call from this number following an enquiry I had made for health insurance. This was from their sales team.

Suggest anyone who receives a call from this number blocks it. have had calls from this and similar numbers that have been aggressive 'bogus' PPI claim calls.

Think carefully before returning calls to any number that you don’t know. There have been stories about people being tricked into calling premium rate numbers.

I answered today and said the same thing - so checked what information they had on my address etc, and have the correct address, have asked for the information, and will check it out when I receive it. I asked where they had obtained my information from and he said from an online form I had completed, and as I have recently, this would seem feasible, as the databases are available to purchase in the telemarketing world. Called from this number several days, once per day, they call for a few seconds which is a sign that it is from a busy call center. I live in eastern Europe, so no point to receive calls from UK and I didn t respond.

NEVER contact this company for any reason. I asked for a quote 8 YEARS ago. They keep phoning every 6-8 weeks looking for work. I ve told them every time for the last 5 years DO NOT CONTACT ME AGAIN. After contacting the Police, I am now taking legal action against this company for years of harassment.

This number has called me four times in the last two hours. It sounds like a call centre is automatically dialling my number.

probably a mask for a real number from abroad. Caller had Indian Accent and it was the well known "Windows Technician Scam" (try Google if you do not know about this scam)
