Spoke to an Indian man, who was concerned I'd downloaded many viruses over the last 3 months. I knew immediately that it was a scam, so wasted his time by "turning my computer on" very slowly and (very pleasantly) asking him plenty of questions about where he was calling from, why he was phoning on a bank holiday (to which he replied "I'm not calling from a bank) etc. He clamed he was based in Westminster and said his phone number was 0203 ........ Called several times telling me I had an SMS message even though I haven’t told anybody this landline number as I had only recently brought this phone (though people barely use landline nowadays). Probably best not to pick up this number.
