I believe this is Scottish power though they don t give me time to pick up orleave a message. I am with SSE but not sure if its a genuine call or not for me. Not going to ring the number as it will cost me and I think if it was genuine why not leave a message. Its a bloody nuisance and downright rude.

Also OpenReach wouldn't call me because they are not responsible for routers in houses, this is BT, they and OpenReach are 2 different companies now.

This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. Scammers!!!! They called my grandmother regarding a PPI claim, telling her in order to claim she would need to put £400 on a travel card (this was their agency 'commission' apparently), and they would come to her home (beware, they already knew her address) to exchange the travel card for her "PPI compensation cheque". Thankfully we've taught her well and she called me first to ask if I thought it was a scam.
