Many calls during the day. Some unanswered. When I did get to speak to someone, they asked for Mr John living at a completely different address. I told them it wasn t me and they hung up immediately. Indian man, after giving an English name,says he is calling from BT Technical Dept.I know that there is no such Department within the BT organisation!!I said goodbye and put the phone down!! It is High time BT themselves did something about this type of call as it has been going on for a very long time.Do not be fooled, it is a SCAM which potentially will relieve you of large amounts of your money!!
SCAM Took a few seconds to connect, then had the telltale click of a switchboard thing. Indian person saying they’re from [indistinguishable] asking how I was, I said I was fine thanks and asked how they were. They proceeded to say they have a deal with Vodafone and blah blah blah. I have searched this number on another site and there have been many searches and reports. The calls are hostile. When information not given they swear and terminate the call. I had call from this number today and answer machine picked up. No message. I m glad I didn t take the call as would have been upset at the hostility. Scam or fishing. This number is dangerous to vulnerable people.

Fraud - claimed to be NHS track & trace. I asked the lady where she was calling from. She said Edinburgh. So I asked her to name the 3 bridges crossing the Firth of Forth. She said "North bridge, South bridge and I don't know". Really, that was her answer! Ha ha ha.
