Scam scam scam. Computer voice said it was from HMRC and I need to press 1 to pay some money regarding a fraud in my name. If I don't then I would have the police coming round for my arrest. Was very laughable because it had no details about me. Just hang up people.
Just had this 'you've been involved in an accident call'. hung up when I heard this but I expect I will be charged £3 or so
Daily or twice daily calls no dialogue & ringback also goes unanswered but mat cost may not be as free as 0800 number suggests?

Alleged NHS phone number for the immunisation management service. Spoke to a woman. Then I realised after having put the phone down that there is no way to check that I was actually speaking to a member of staff of the NHS. Too late! Cold called me said they were the Hearing Clinic in Derby asked if l worked in a noisy industry took my details Rang back to book a home hearing test. Next day rang again to book hearing Test with no record of me By now l am suspicious l rang them and asked them to bring up my details on their computer but couldn t do that because they were using the phone. Called our business, man with Indian/Asian accent asked for the business owner by name. Possible telemarketing (possibly scam) as it took a minute to connect to the call once I answered, definite call centre in the background. He wouldn't tell me which company he was calling from.

Totally unnecessary attitude to customers. I had a 5 minute call where they failed to hang up but left me a message on an answerphone - I think I heard the F word three times, and had to put up with poor singing too!

A call well away from the area I live, claiming to be dealing with energy supplies in my area, and problems with Government grants for loft insulation, but a problem has been found causing damp and mould in the loft insulation. An offer is made to check and replace the loft insulation, to then be charged for work that is simply not required.
