the same as pete these dreadful scammers should be stopped the calls are intimidating with demand for money in my case £149 got a reminder for payment this morning have sent it back to the address (which on tracing seems to be a private house which is up for sale) return to sender, have reported this to trading standards and citizens advice was given the number for action fraud

Alledged call from Amazon saying my prime was due for automatic renewal and they would be taking out £39.99 from my account and to press 1 if I wish to cancel the subscription. I am a Amazon prime member but know the membership is not £39.99. I hung up without pressing any number. I believe this to be a scam.
3 calls last week. What I found out is. This number can be from a company which install remote software on your computer and will trigger a crash and ring you at the same time to fix it. Pests!

Caller claimed she was from BT and that other people were using my internet line. She wanted me to test something using my computer. She knew one of my email addresses, but not the one provided by BT. She gave daft or evasive answers to my questions. This appears to be a scam with the aim of getting me to provide personal details or perhaps remote access to my computer.

Is bothered by tel nr 088-7751018. Looks like a young man with a Moroccan dialect and is said to be from KPN/Internet/Telephone provider with a new good offer - is quite aggressive and says you "have to" eavesdrop on a tape. KPN says that this person cannot be from KPN and labels this person as a fraudster / phishing. Advice: Do not call back and do not answer. You can number put in contacts of telephone with: "Fraudster, DO NOT PICK UP"!
