the caller wanted me to do a survey about my energy usage. He had my name right but the address he had on file was of my student accommodation which happened to have bills included and I haven t lived there since 2010. He asked for my current address but there was no way I was going to tell him.

This company seems to be a telemarketer for ppi claims. They are using a list containing contact details without direct consent from the recipient. I self registered my details as a saleable commodity With a prohibitive high cost for non authorised use for commercial gain. I have now invoiced them for this amount. Lets see what they do now!

My husband has unfortunately been duped by this company - Clearview partnership. This is a Debt Collection Agency - yet another one - asking for a Mr Thomas Davies or Mrs Davies (if I answer). One of many!!! I have asked them to remove my number from their database as I am sick and tired of getting calls from debt collectors! I was told "This is the first time we have called you madam" - I replied that I didn t care if it was the first time or not, I wanted my number removed as no-one of that name has ever lived at this address. Called claiming to be from Worldpay and asking for someone who doesn t work here. She got the wrong person in me! Oddly enough when I said we already use Worldpay (which is true) she backed off. I would say possibly not Worldpay - but anyway just AVOID!!

The PEST is: Domestic & General :( They are a cold-calling pest phishing for new Loft Insulation contracts. I have automated calls on a daily basis for 2 months now - 3 rings and they hang up - never leaving a message. I wish the government would provide the regulators with some teeth to prosecute all these highly persistent phone pests making MULTIPLE nuisance calls. I changed my number relatively recently to avoid this, and I m ex-directory and I ve "opted out" so they should check before they call.

Silent caller - is breaking the law. Report to Ofcom and Infomation Commissioners Office as a nuisance caller.

Just one call. Polite but (no pun intended) I could not hear them.
