This local call claimed to be from Amazon saying my account was £300 in red. No question about who I was.
19/11/18 Beware - Very plausible female offering to extend washing machine warranty cover - worry is she knew my name.
SCAMMER: Indian, female voice said that there had been illegal activity on my internet line. Said she was from BT and that somebody had conducted illegal activity and it was recorded on their server. Played a long for a little while then let the scamming witch know what she is.
Delay in answering phone, computerised voice says they know I ve been in an accident so I responded yes and asked them to take me off the call list when an actual person answered. She was rude and slammed the phone down.

I was called by someone calling himself "Yogi" allegedly from Carphone Warehouse and I renewed my contract through him with Vodafone. The incentive being a substantial cash back deal. The cheques never appeared and Vodafone do not know anything about the deal (so they say). Vodafone are refusing to honour the deal and I have reported them to trading standards and the communications commission as they are saying they cannot see on their system who renewed the contract. Asked me to confirm details which I wasnt willing to do and then tried to sell me the old ppi speech said I wasnt interested and then hung up. Caller then decided to keep phoning me back to which I ignored 6 times I then added the number to autoblock and it was another 14 times. ignore this caller.
SCAM - Claiming to be calling on behalf of EDF Energy, total gas and British gas to update records. I called EDF, they confirmed this is not their number. This is someone lying in order to try and get business away from your energy providers and therefore any information you give them could be used fraudulently!
