This number is from scammers in Birmingham wanting your bank details to repay you home appliance warranty overpayments that do not exist. Usually get three to four calls per week from same people using different numbers. They tell you that you have overpaid and they are from the refund department and can only pay your refund directly into your bank account DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY DETAILS. SPAM Call from HMRC about owing tax money, American like voice, press one for more details. I closed my phone and ended the call. Think it’s a scam.

SCAM Said calling from my credit card, but no company name given, about unusual transactions this morning. Wanting me to press 1, 2 or 3 to speak to someone. Supposed to have spent £400 on Amazon and £200 on a western union transfer.

Just called by this number. Voice was with an Indian accent and said his name was Michael calling from EE network. I’m not with them at all. Immediately hung up on them and blocked. Definitely a scam

SCAM - says from uk revenue and customs, recorded by woman with American accent threatening court action if you don’t press 1 to speak to an agent. Don’t do it - all correspondence from government departments come via post!!!

SCAM Scammers pretending to be my network provider O2. I'm not with O2, they using this number which when googled comes up with a restaurant. I can only assume their spoofing the number using voice over Internet calls.

Number called saying they were from the security department of my bank. No bank name was given. apparently there were two transactions going through on my card, one for Amazon and another larger sum was an international money transfer. I was invited to press 1 to cancel the transactions or 2 to confirm. Naturally I did neither.

Phoned me. Background noise suggested I was being called from an overseas call centre. Caller had an Asian accent. When I started to ask where her company was based she replied “ Manchester”. When I asked further questions she put the phone down on me. Suspicious.

Called today and left voicemail supposedly from my bank about suspicious credit card transactions, one £300 at Amazon and one £1,100 with an international currency transfer service. It is a scam - fraud office of bank does not phone and leave a pre-recorded message!

Got a text claiming to be Santander saying it had my one time passcode for a large payment. If this payment wasn’t me to ring this number. I do not bank with Santander. It’s a scam. Did not attempt to ring the number.
