Fraud Call claimed to checking on possible fraudulent payments from a bank card (one to Amazon, and one international), and inviting me to press 1 to continue. But as it was left on answering machine this could not be done. No card provider specified and they didn't address me by name. On checking, no such payments have been made from any of my cards.

They then managed to trigger the Amazon reset password text message and pressured me to give me that code to them, presumably so that they could take control of my Amazon account. Had a call from a Leeds number. They said they were from Asset Claim Ltd and gave me their address, which I looked up online and there is a Asset Claim Ltd..BUT...the guy had my name and address inc postcode and said I was getting some PPI back and asked for my date of birth. I said I was not giving out my personal details and he started to get slightly irate. I also said I would not be giving out any bank details and he said I'm not asking for bank details, I need your date of birth. He cut me off. SCAM!
