They called to say I had a minor accident in the last 2.5 years. When I asked what vehicle it was, they said they couldn t tell me because of data protection. I enjoy keeping them on the line while they waste their own time. Sometimes I tell them I m just getting the details and leave them hanging on. It stops them calling anyone else for a while until they get fed up.
Unidentified caller. When called there is an exchange message: - " The number you have dialed has not been recognised. Please check and try again." This applies to those between 01274 100210 and 01274 100215 inclusive. This is symptomatic of a fraudulent or scam call. Be aware.

Called every day now from a number beginning 0208 xxxxxx. This number 0208 275 4022 today. So many scam calls now I let every call go to the answerphone and just use the mobile, this is so persistent that I called back from mobile. There was no connection, tried the other niumbers beginning 0208 received in the last 7 days - BT recording saying numbers unrecognised, Have no idea if this is a scammer or genuine - but if its genuine they are doing a poor job as you cant call back.

SCAM or fraud. I reported this company to Action Fraud today - BAM Drainage Ltd. Company was set up in March 2020 and somehow managed to get a payment from my mother soon after. Ally my research points to preying on the elderly and vulnerable here. I have not been able to get through to the number on their website to discuss.

It is one of those days.....I have had three of these calls in one morning when exceptionally busy. Criminals make up these numbers - all fake and nearly always different - to call me to try to persuade me to fall for their story that there is something wrong with my computer or internet connection. SCAM My wife received an automated call form this number to her mobile advising her that she would soon be arrested in connection with tax avoidance. The voice asked her to "press 1" to speak to someone about it. Clearly a scam of some sort.

Fraud SCAM Called me pretending to be from Amazon saying that someone had ordered an iPhone on my account. They then managed to trigger the Amazon reset password text message and pressured me to give me that code to them, presumably so that they could take control of my Amazon account. Got quite upset when I refused to give them the code
