This was something to do with "Their records showed I had received bad investment advice in the past." This was a complete lie as I have never made any investments. I told them this and asked not to be called again. I received an almost identical call from a different person on the same number the next day. I forgot to mention to them that I am TPS registered, but clearly their company does not care about that as they don't check.
This landline number was left on my answer machine but no message. Looked it up on Google - UK area code 01625 is for Macclesfield in Cheshire and surrounding area. See previo...
