I live in Florida, US. Have never before received a SPAM hang up call from England until now. Nevertheless, it was an automated call and I have no friends in, or traveling to the UK.
Appeared on my mobile contacts and what’s app with a picture of an unwholesome looking man “John”. Deleted but worried about how it got there.

Received a call but then it gets cut off, its from 02038597401 the man explains its from Passport Office. Not sure tried to call it back and its saying they are but I did call the acutal British Passport office and they have told me that this number is FRAUD! so do not give any information of yours! to 02038597401 this is a fraudulent number. SCAM. Texted me, supposedly from Evri, saying I missed a delivery and have to pay a redelivery charge. I wasn't expecting a package, so I looked up the link and my software blocked it as a trojan. The number doesn't show up at all in a google search, so it's a scam.

SCAM Fraud Call center Just called me claiming to be from Sky, wanting to speak to me about my Broadband. When I told them I know this is a Scam call, as I don't have Sky Broadband, they hung-up, so obviously a scammer. It was an Indian-sounding woman, from a call centre, so could well have been coming from India etc, with the number spoofed / redirected to blocks of UK numbers being resold to places like that.
