MIL debt collection agency collecting money for a personal outstanding bill. Making contact with my business suppliers asking for me personally and for me to call them on this number they are also on 01872266136. When calling back they admitted using the internet to gather info in an attempt to catfish me. Not sure this is legal nor in line with GDPR regulations. We'll see solicitor looking into this.

Caller claimed to be from domestic and general, in regard to the cover on my washing machine was due to expire. Pointed out that this was not the case and hung up. Scammers!

Please stop saying this is a scam, it is NOT A SCAM. This is Nationwide's genuine calling number. They call early in the morning and late at night in order to catch people outside of work hours. If you actually think it's a scam, you ask them for their employee ID and their name, then you call your bank on their normal customer service number and you confirm the person's details PLUS the phone number they called from. It's a call centre number, so that's probably why it won't go through to anyone when you c
