I am suspicious of this phone number. The man phoning spoke good English with a strong accent and was convincing. He told me he was from AV (antiviral program) and that my recent payment of £149 had not gone through. He offered me a discount policy at £29 for the next year. Re The failed bank payment, the bank itself stopped this money and when I spoke to my bank it was decided that the £149 seemed high for an anti viral program and there was a possibility of fraud. Have rung several times despite my telling them not to. So this morning I just put the handset next to the radio until they hung up. Next time they will get an earful of my policeman s whistle!
Rang me three times this week asking for Mr Woodward. Told them wrong number the first time. The third time she started saying well this call may be of interest to you. I told them no it isn t. At no point did they introduce themselves.

The man on the other end of the line had a rather heavy accent, saying that this was in reference to the call I had with his colleague the past week about an unsecured loan.
