I was called by someone calling himself "Yogi" allegedly from Carphone Warehouse and I renewed my contract through him with Vodafone. The incentive being a substantial cash back deal. The cheques never appeared and Vodafone do not know anything about the deal (so they say). Vodafone are refusing to honour the deal and I have reported them to trading standards and the communications commission as they are saying they cannot see on their system who renewed the contract. Got a phone call saying I've won a makeover and they named a friend of mine. They said I'd had a text in 2015 about it... it's 2017. Bit of a late follow up call..
Apparently a company dealing with PPI Claims...only picked up call as it came from an area code I recognised as I used to live there...
Called them back loads of times this morning (using 141 prefix) to ask if they would like to make a PPI claim, buy double glazing, have their PC virus fixed.
