From the Howard League for Prison Reform. Legitimate.

i had a missed call dialled 1471 the number stored was 0161 643 6900 when i tried to call it back a voice said number not available!

I received a call from them which involved a woman shouting with the sound or children in the background. They hung up when I said "Hello". I have blocked them. Very unprofessional, even for scammers.

I just had a call from them & never picked it up. Assuming from all the comments on here, it sounds like it is Vodafone trying to get hold of the owner of all new phones to either check the service is ok or to check something else. Sounded like a call centre. Name of Kayley with a London accent. About extending warranty on my washing machine. My correct name and address was quoted but no specifics regarding make or when washing machine was bought. She didn't identify which agency she represented.
