I got a phone call today (ending up on my voicemail). The message said: “This is officer Danis Grey from HM Revenu and Costume. The hotline to ??? revision is 02 03 314 77 91. I repeat, it is 02 03 314 77 91. Do not disregard this message and call us back. If you do not call us back, or we do not hear from your solicitor either. Then get ready to face the legal consequences. Good bye. And take care.” It is obviously a scary phishing phone call.

I get so many of these calls - it s a nightmare frankly. I always try to discover who makes these calls but it seems this is a new one. I didn t answer so I m not able to help. If they ring again I ll try to get information in order to categorize them.

spoke to a girl called Meghan, she was polite at first but then became rude and sharp once I said I won t be spending any more money on my adwords. She also laughed at me when I mentioned I m experimenting with it and I prefer to learn by mistakes. She was also eating while speaking to me. Doesn t seem like a company I d ever want to deal with.

SCAMMERS - PLEASE DONT FALL FOR IT! Had a call from this number claiming to be from “my bank” - they didn’t mention the name of the bank, I should have thought to ask as I don’t think he knew. Said he wanted to check that an online payment of £2500ish this morning was really made by me. Of course it wasn’t. He wanted me to get my bank card and check the phone number on the back (think the next step would have been to ‘put the phone down’ so I could dial my bank, yeah right). These people keep ringing me who are they
I have received 3 calls per day, from various numbers across the UK, following an accident in November (6 months). They all know my registration number, and date of accident, enough to pretend they are working on behalf of my insurer. THEY ARE NOT!
