A call from Carphone warehouse, using a LOCAL code - ie - 01324 trying to deceive you into thinking it s a local call. You answer, and it s OBVIOUSLY a CALL Centre (by all the noise in the background) and on questioning the guy, is clearly NOT in the Falkirk area. This type of local call is being used more and more.

The man on the other end of the line had a rather heavy accent, saying that this was in reference to the call I had with his colleague the past week about an unsecured loan. When I asked for the company name or any other sort of identification, he refused to give me any details. (He wouldn t even tell me the name of the person I allegedly had a phone call with.)
