Then a man with an Indian accent spoke to me asking for my postcode and address. I foolishly gave it to him after which he hung up -this must be some sort of scam or attempted fraud

SCAM, this was the second of 3 phone calls I got on a saturday morning, when i was still in bed, the first 2 before 9am, I have an answer machine and neither of the first 2 left messages, dont have call logging, so can only retrieve the last caller, which was this number, then around 9:54 the phone rang for a third time, I answered immediately, as I was actually holding the phone when it rang, said hello twice, no response, then they hung up that number was 01375405982.

SCAM I called the number back, a man told me someone had ordered a phone from my Amazon Prime account. The caller had also left an automated voice message saying something similiar.
