Don't know how the caller obtained my mobile phone number but said he was calling about the injury I had sustained in a minor traffic accident 3 years ago. I had no idea what he was referring to but presumed he was on a fishing expedition and hoping to be able to put in a fictitious claim on my behalf.

I just got a call from this number about PPI ,trying to confirm my details etc. I played along for about ten minutes then called his bluff. He started cursing and swearing at me down the phone but seemed a little taken aback when I gave him far worse than anything he was saying to me.

This number (and as it seems also all similar numbers of the same range - 122 528 71xx) are used for the same call centre, they are already reported in connection with breast cancer research (mostly non-profit org.), but also road accidents telemarketing... You decide, I blocked it.

these numbers are driving me mad, my block list is full! so now I can't even block them. surely something should be done about these? there are 1000's of complaints they harass everyone yet they get away with it constantly. if one of us harassed someone like theu do we would be looking at criminal charges SO WHY ARE THESE ALLOWED TO CONSTANTLY GET AWAY WITH IT?????

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 88436563xxx range... People did someone answer this number?
