SCAM - "UK Essentials" - sounded like scammers - typical couple of seconds after you say "hello" to respond - and then hung up. Sounded like the man was calling from an Indian call centre with the London number being a spooked number.

Got called by this number today - left VM telling me to call back re tax inquiry. Then proceeded to try and keep me online for as long as possible quoting my rights etc. And threatening me with court case and fines etc. . I panicked a bit and then question

I am from Sri Lanka and this number calls me often from UK. As it seems this number belongs to the City Inn Westminister Hotel, London, which is situated close to Buckingham Palace. This is why I m really curious who this person is.
