Bot first spoke saying quotScottish Power are trying to contact you press 1 to talk to an advisorquot I press 1 then some Indian woman asks for my full name and address I say that Im not comfortable giving my address over the phone like that they didnt even say why they were calling then they put me on hold then hung up on me Its either 1 a scam or 2 a bad organisation doing dirty work for Scottish Power Either way theyre untrustworthy and should be avoided
This number claimed to be from BT. The person said I may have a technical error in my broadband router. I disputed it and I asked the person to give me their number so I could call them back. I was told I could Google it and when I said I was not going to Google it and I asked again for their number the line went dead.
After looking into this more, turns out this number is linked to what is known as a locksmith scam. They will over charge and drill out your lock and damage your door instead of just lockpicking it. They are not on the MLA Approved Locksmiths. Although, if you are happy of being overcharged as hell, I am a victim of this scam, but they did come out within 15 minutes, gotta give them that.

Apparently from Scottish Government in relation to Ipsos Mori survey, wanting to do a survey of my home. I don’t know the number so I’m not answering. If it’s that bloody important, LEAVE A MESSAGE AND I CAN PHONE YOU BACK!!!! Have called multiple times a day for over a week. It’s getting annoying.
Cold called by this number: man said he understood I had a driveway. Asked what this was about & he said more that I did not understand & could not relate to. Told him this & said I was going to hang up. He said "have a nice day" & hung up.

If I hung up and ignored the call I may end up with a fine or court proceedings.no reference as to what the call was related to? Very strange and no reason why I would even recieve such a call. I was rang, and the caller was ringing about diesel claims. When I told him I wasn't interested and to remove me from the database, he shouted me down and asked me why I was interested. He continued to talk over me, saying he was working alongside the Dept of Transport and I should listen to him. NUMBER BLOCKED!
