Received call, recorded message, pertaining to be HMRC asking me to press a number to talk to them about incorrect tax return. I believe this to be fraudulent and that HMRC would not make contact in this manner.

TAXES / HMRC Robocall allegedly from HMRC saying that they are about to take legal action against you and press one, leave your details to prevent legal action being taken. No human interaction whatsoever. When you try to call it back ( from a withheld number you get an immediate divert saying sorry calls can't be taken at this time or an unobtainable tone.

Fraud - Text message reads "someting really bad just happened mum, can you please message me on whatsapp 07498 158456 its urgent" .. Qute despicable attempt at fraud.

This number called my 90 year old mother posing as the fraud department from the Bank of Scotland. He said 2 lots of money had left her account and they were chasing this up. Thankfully she phoned the bank and it was confirmed that these transactions had not happened. It was a scam, I think to get her personal details, not any account numbers - perhaps identity theft. He phoned her again today apologising for not phoning back yesterday but my mum was very blunt with her replies and he hung up.

This no. of man working in scam company who is stealing money from people after giving them indication that everyday they will receive a lot of money. He is speaking about big projects. He is speaking Arabica language and English. Please specially Arabs take care of that persons in that company they named themselves: Qasy, Asem, Ahmed and Ibrahim. SCAM - The Phone rang and caller (a computer) hung up when I didn't speak! This was a computer generated call trying to sniff out voice lines. If you answer then the line will be detected as 'a voice line' and you'll be called back later by a con-artist. They may also be quick to say they are not selling, simply enquiring, surveying, etc. THESE CALLS ARE SCAMS & HARASSING. If ever in doubt tell them to write to you, but DON'T give your address, if genuine they should know it, or just hang up!

Scam number impersonating virgin money. I received a text which appeared to be from virgin money “this is your one time passcode to debit your account (amount) to pay (company). If this was NOT you call us on 03309124638” I called Virgin money directly using their actual number from the back of my bank card to report it, it’s definitely a scam.

The real Fedex website is https://www.fedex.com/en-gb/home.html The people sending texts from this number are Scammers committing Fraud.
