i answered this number and the caller said he was from orange calling about my upgrade, I put him off and he called twice more. I talked about my upgrade, he new all my details and gave his opinion on suitable mobiles for me - even advising on my usage and a better phone for me because of it. I contacted orange the day after and they had no record of my call, upgrade or anything about this ? a waste of time and effort if this was a crank call, not sure of the purpose for the scammer but will be checking m

Another accident claim call, different this time though as it was a recorded message designed to sound polite and conversational like a live caller. Company name was stated but too quickly and barely audibly. States they have information of involvement in an accident and asks to confirm whether you have had an accident in last 3 years. Cut off when incorrect responses given!

Called saying someone had gained access to my computer and was using it for illegal purposes. Couldn t hear the caller properly and they got frustrated and hung up.

I got several calls from this number and last night he left a voicemail message. He wanted to meet up for sex, I have no clue who this person is or how he got my number. He said they got it at a London club but I don t live there or go to nightclubs. Really weird, he called at 11:56pm and again at 00:05am. I ve heard the same number is used for harassing people about porn, parking tickets and many other ridiculous calls.

Call arrived whilst I was in the republic of Moldova. I work with victims of child-trafficking in that region and my number is only used for emergencies from agencies relating to the subject. Consequently, I tried returning the call with several connections, but the call eventually dropped out. When I returned home discovered I still had to pay for the calls at a rate of GBP£1.27 per connection, plus the same cost for having answered the incoming call! Caveat Emptor!
