Asked if I was the owner of property, could tell he was going to ask for my full details. Which I didn’t give. He got annoyed with me when I didn’t disclose any info. SCAM Saying they are calling from virgin media, about our slow Internet router. They will proceed to ask you to download a software on your pc and then steal any banking details and passwords. We end up having 10 of these calls a day, it's so frustrating. I end up laughing and saying some choice words or going along pretending I'm doing what they are asking. When I say I'm not with virgin media they switch and say they are an it department for all Internet providers. Do not fall for this!!!
A chap called Chris phoned, stating to be from The Green Eco Company. After introducing himself he then launched into a barrage of questions about my age group, what type of loft insulation I had, how was the loft accessed, etc, etc. He then went on to state that because of my age I was eligible for a free loft inspection, which normally cost £65.00. Blatently obvious that this was a cold call from a private company so declined his offer, hung up & blocked the number.
01592 675873 called today, missed the call. When i tried to call it back, number was unavailable. Looks like a VoIP number used by scammers, this is their usual trait when trying to call the number back as it's only set to allow dialling out not calling back.
