When I pointed out that I don’t have Sky and enquired if this was another Indian call centre scam call the guy calmed me a MotherF****er and a C*** and several more expletives. Caller did not like being questioned. He became abusive and hung up. Obviously a scam.
SCAM / SPAM Basically saying they are calling from Amazon prime and you have been charged for your subscription, I asked which card as I had three linked to my account, he couldn't tell me. So I stated he was a scam trying to get my details and he hung up on me...Well if that isnt a clear indication that they are up to no good, I dont know what is. Always question ANYONE asking for your bank details
This number has rung my mobile twice in two days. I have not answered but after reading comments on this and other websites, I contacted O2 directly. They confirmed that it IS them and it IS telemarketing, and offered to block my number, which I accepted. He said he had passed my details to telemarketing to stop contacting me but it could take up to 28 working days for the calls to stop. So I will have to wait and see. I hope this helps.
