The person calling from this number was clearly ringing from a call centre and had an Asian name which I didn t catch. He stated that the company name was MTA Solicitors and that he was calling about a recent car accident. This is clearly a scam call as I have not had a car accident.

They then managed to trigger the Amazon reset password text message and pressured me to give me that code to them, presumably so that they could take control of my Amazon account. They said they were from Asset Claim Ltd and gave me their address, which I looked up online and there is a Asset Claim Ltd..BUT...the guy had my name and address inc postcode and said I was getting some PPI back and asked for my date of birth. I said I was not giving out my personal details and he started to get slightly irate. I also said I would not be giving out any bank details and he said I'm not asking for bank details, I need your date of birth. He cut me off. SCAM!
