The call to my mobile went to voicemail. They left no message and hung up. There was no noise in the background during the 8 seconds recorded on my mobile.

Irish lad said he was calling about my frozen pension. i played along and made up stuff about a fictitious pension which he VERIFIED. When said I was just digging out the file to get the pension reference number he hung up, l am a pension administrator so can baffle them with terminology. Proves these calls are a scam.

This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. They verified my details, knew my name and every handset/plan I already had, and after a brief chat, concluded that I didnt need anything. I get these kind of calls 1-2 a year. They are a telesales company likely working with EE. There is a lot of negative comments, but this is the way the capitalist world you live in works. Accept you will get these calls, people trying to sell your something.

Very rude asian - called me a m***** f***** when I told him to take my number off his system. I'm on TPS. Usual rubbish about claims - said he was 'Alan' from some made up claims company name (Alan? Mohammed more like - or Mr Patel). I told him to get a decent job and stop this pathetic game. These **** use a telephone number until they see them online - so blocking is only a short term measure. So much for Ofcom stopping nuisance calls.
