After answering this number, it hangs on to my phone line until I wish to use the phone next - when it auto dials the number back. This happened with the same number a few months back and I was charged £3.50 by my provider.

Receiving calls about boiler replacement every couple of days and I am now about to put it on my Truecall machine. The best ?100 I ever spent. I seldom get nuisance cals these days but as soon as I have time I Google them to check authenticity, then put them on the Truecall if not trusted. I am hard of hearing, most know this and I seldom get calls now unless important.

My voicemail picked up part of an automated recorded message, seemed to be telling me to press 1 or my National Insurance number would be 'switched off' and I would no longer be able to use it. I received a call from this number today, it s seemed to be a poor connection or he made out he couldn t hear me. I man with a very strong accent (not English) yet goes by the name of peter asked for me by name when I said yes. He said I m calling from the bank and hung up. I expected they ( whoever they are) wanted me to call the bank at some unknown exaggerated cost to myself.

SCAM / SPAM said they were from Visa Headquarters and that a payment of £600 had been made on my Barclaycard. I don’t have a Barclaycard and when I suggested this they hung up. It was an Indian man and the phone number is a Rugby code.
