Recorded message saying they were my internet provider and they were going to cut me off within 48hrs unless I pressed one and speak to an adviser. No mention of who they were. SCAM
I had just made a purchase from Amazon and this person with a very bad line phoned claiming to be from Amazon wanting to check my details. This is the second time it has happened. Amazon do not operate like this. Be on your guard.

This is Boots trying to sell directly. Boots use automated dialing and will call every day. If you pick up you ll get music until Boots have a sales guy available. If you hang up boots will just call again. You cannot call them back (its a machine). Boots will never stop calling you, even if you ask them. The only way to make them stop is not buy againthing from Boots or Boots.com. If you have done, your screwed.

I had a missed call from this number and having read here that it was a debt collection company I panicked that I had forgotten to pay something! So the man on the phone searched my number and in the meantime asked for my surname. I replied that surely he should know my surname as it was them who called me. Fraud, It is a computer message saying you are being investigated for tax fraud and a warrant issued. Press _ etc. Do not respond to the fraudster. Warrants are not issued over the phone and HMRC will write you if they have any queries.

This number 01133100118 which shows as Leeds rang me & offered to beat my network provider by 30% without knowing who i was with, 5 minutes later the same man (john) rang me again with the same offer, this time the number 01143560006 came up as Sheffield. Leeds to Sheffield in less than 5 minutes is pretty fast so i think these numbers are being spoofed from a computer.
Called me in Sweden, didn't answer.
Claimed to be from Talktalk (not our account). This was after 2 automated calls yesterday claiming to be from Talktalk. I hung up and will look to call bar.
