Asian man called David from MS Tech support calling reference my computer - classic scam call (6 Dec 18)
Scammers. Called saying they were from Auto Assist about my recent car accident and needed to confirm details. I don t drive and have never been in a car accident. Was later called by the same people on a different number as I just hung up after their spiel.

This is someone lying in order to try and get business away from your energy providers and therefore any information you give them could be used fraudulently!

DANGEROUS Scammer saying he is calling from BT about my internet connection problems. These calls are always a scam. They often know your name and address, so can sound legit. Usually they want you to go online then give them control of your device. They can then get information stored on the device. Banking info, passwords etc. All this under the pretence of helping you. Looks like this is a new number they re using. DEFINITELY BEWARE

This is capital one! Respond and then immediately log into your capital one app and chose option ‘lost/stolen card” then “block card temporarily”. Call capital one official number: 03330004323, or use number on back of card!
Jason Phillips called me from this number and then sent 2 email copy letters with Financial Ombudsman Service at top right of the letters, stating a big refund for my solar PV. He asked for covering payment upfront saying it is needed to cover costs of UK Law Associates before a refund could be arranged. I had no positive proof of who he was/is and declined the payment. I am perusing this through the ombudsman who is handling the case of mis-sold pv for me.
