Yes this is HSBC. I have an account with them and this was my LOCAL branch calling to make sure I was aware of changes and to ensure I was using the acc correctly. Very pleasant lady and took 5mins of my time. No problem to report.
Silent call rang 4 times straight after the other called back no answer. Rang me again. Could hear typing down the phone and whispering.

Call from man (no gentleman) with Indian accent who claimed to be from Microsoft Technical Department. When I jokingly replied that I was from Microsoft fraud department he ranted down the phone at me for 15 minutes in abusive language before he eventually hung up. I have had scam calls before but this one was downright offensive.

Said for me to click the link to update information to avoid having to pay any fines in future. I clicked the link but phone detected the link as unsafe and sent me a full red screen reading: “DECEPTIVE WEBSITE DETECTED” and gave me a choice to proceed or to go back to previous page. This is police officers radio which goes point to point into landline hence the number. Its from there radio handset and its a set number.
