A number used by capita investment, they also call from a witheld number. The company seems to be based in 3rd Avenue, New York, NY 10022 and there calls are about a documented takeover scam where they say a 3rd party wants to buy your worthless penny shares and need a bond. This is where they ask for money.

Had a call from a this number saying it was regarding an accident I had. Not had one, they then hung up.
Fraud SCAM Cold call. Indian voice asks you to give long card number as some payment at some time "did not go through". I remember no such occasion with an Indian agent, and if this does happen with any other, they immediately check and enter the card number again and it does go through. I said I can't just give my card number to an unknown caller for an unknown transaction, and the agent said he would get their lawyers to deal with me. I have blocked the number.

I answered, a man was on the other end, claimed to be a part of a pension plan scheme, I never paid to on, opted for one, nor did my previous employer contributed to one on my behalf, told the man this in answer to his questions, he thanked me for my time and said bye. SCAM The caller was a recorded message suggesting they were from a Londoon Magistrate and stated that if I choose to ignore this information then my National Insurance number will be blocked and stop working. After another threat they told me to press 1 to speak to the officer in charge of the case. At which point I hung up.
