They left a 2 minute 30 second voice mail of people talking in the background with a heavy accent that I could not place. (They forgot to hang up.) I did recently register a new phone number and domain name for my business.
This company uses Voxbone SA (now called bandwidth) services to route calls from scammers. this is just one of many telephone numbers i have had call me trying to scam me and i receive up to six per day for the past few weeks. At the beginning I politely told them that i was not interested requesting them to take my number off their call list and now its straight FO. Sorry for generalising it but it usually an Asian woman or man.
They rang today, answer machine collected the call, saying to contact 2F quoting a contact number. 2F seems to be what theyre calling themselves

getting fed up with these nuisance calls all the time so phoned ofcom who are supposed to be the policeman to deal with these calls. to be honest ofcom is about as useful as a fart in a spacesuit. all the lady could tell me was to use call blocking etc. to which i said when these people have 100 s of numbers not much good. told her that ofcom should prove their worth and starting earning their money by doing something about it. but of course they wont because telephone companies will start bleating suppress

I have had 3 calls from this number all claiming to BT and requesting I log in for a variety of reasons, first I had a problem with the internet, Secondly they put the phone down when I took the phone from the missus and today apparently my internet was going to be cut off in 3 days. Keep getting called by this number and I am ex-directory and never give my home number to anyone. I do not answer this number and they have never left a message. H ever they call at any time on any day of the week repeatedly. I wish there was a way to make them stop.

Scam National Insurance Scam saying NI number has been compromised. Automated message, no doubt wanting the victim of the call to press one to be connected to scammers. I put the phone down when I heard the message and cut off the call. Having seen resent warnings about this scam, I was already aware of it. Don't act on the call and hang up. Government bodies don't call people in this way. BEWARE. DANGEROUS.
