I get calls from this number every day on my mobile, sometimes twice or three times a day. I never give this number to anyone except close friends! They just called again even though I blocked their number. When I first answered weeks ago, they immediately ended the call. I m worried it s some kind of scam.

Been having loads of calls from 0156 prefixed numbers. All say variations of "you have been a victim of fraud so your phone/broadband/gas/whatever account will be cancelled...

Everest keep calling our land-line depite me telling them the people who they are asking for moved out of our address some 16 years ago. It gets really annoying I have not given them my name I just tell them they have got the wrong number.

This Asian prat, after asking me my name said in a thick Paki accent. "I have not rung to tell you anything" So I said in that case **** Off and put the phone down. But I was right; this cretin is from Londonistan where 4 out of five residents are from foreign descent. I know of no one in London so why ring me if it s not to try and con money out of me. It s too long to be a valid UK number. Iffy number usually means iffy reason for calling.

Accident claims company. Scam. Claimed falsely to have information about an accident I d had. I ve blocked the number.

Same as the other comments, claimed to be from Talktalk said I had a problem with the router blah blah.

Very similar to everyone else. Had a phone call saying that I was wanted for Tax avoidance and that they were issuing a warrant out for my arrest if I didn?t pay. Seeing as my tax is paid through PAYE I know there?s no issue with my tax. However the tone in which the call is made is quite aggressive if someone is not used to this kind of con. Promptly put phone down.

Caller is polite - company conducts investment related surveys. There is potential for annoyance.
