Bank security scam call received from this number by another 01244 Chester number.

Just called me regarding an attempted transaction to John Lewis. Said my account was ‘under attack’ and there had been several suspicious transactions. He said he would escalate my case to Level 3 fraud, set up a new account number and sort code with a random generated name. Phoned Santander fraud department who confirmed my account was safe - the scammer then called me back ‘No Caller ID’! so I told him in no uncertain terms that he was a scamming bastard and he could go forth and multiply.

Received this call today. It came approximately 30 minutes after a call from a Cambridge number 01223 931995. The Cambridge number went dead on answering. The 01330 563426 number allowed me to answer, and an automated message said it was the HMRC and that I would be fined. You could press 1 to talk to an agent. I hung up. You cannot ring back. SCAM - the guy said he was from a company called MEH. He said there was potentially something wrong with my life insurance cover which could stop me from being paid out. I asked him what life insurance cober and he hung up. Obviously a scammer BEWARE!!!

I received a call from an Asian sounding female saying she was from Havering council asking if I need snd housing repairs . Her accent was quite wrong snd when asked to repeat her request she huffed and puffed as if it was annoying her .

Call from this number alleging to be a court enforcement officer regarding an unpaid advertisement debt. Definitely fraud and reported to Action Fraud and police. Tried to get over £2000 from me. Very personable bloke allegedly called Alan Wise. If you get anyone from this number, it is fraud. Don't pay and report.

Scammer pretending to be from BT. Said hackers were active on my BT account and wanted all kinds of information about my broadband and devices. I'm not with BT so refused and he threatened to disconnect my service if I didn't comply... Absolute scum - beware!

Loan scam

As with the previous review, received a text supposed to be from Apple telling me my wallet features have been put on hold, due to an unusual transaction, and to visit the link in the text message. Needless to say I have not got an Apple wallet and did not click the link. I assume it's a scam.

This number was used for a scam call supposedly from BT Internet. I think it is probably an ordinary valid number, Scammers seem able to hijack numbers and this is one of several received recently from other members

Wanted to talk about domains but couldn't tell me which.
