Received a missed call from 01277 557 626 - phoned back as number from Brentwood where I live. No ringing, goes straight to a strange robotic voice saying "Your call is very important to us, please stay on the line while we transfer you to the next available agent" Then silence, no holding music. Hung up straight away as appears to be a bogus call - no company greeting and I doubt they ever transfer you to anyone. Just racking up your call time to get money.
Scam. Called me and said that I called them first. Then tried to ask for my details.

Couldn't really understand what they were saying but it was an unsolicited call regarding Financial services - I said I didn't take such calls and hung up. Claiming to be Virgin Media, do,nt believe a word . Already had one call today claiming to be BT about broadband, seems like these scammers keep trying until they find someone vulnerable enough to believe them.

SCAM, judging by the many comments left on other look-up numbers. At 08:13 a male voice said he was BT Technical Department. We are not with BT so I put the phone down. The same number rang at 08:22. I did not answer it, so after a few seconds the ringing stopped. Many other people have reported the same experience.
I have just received a screen message that my computer has been infected by Exploit virus and to call this number. Looks like I almost fell for it -thanks to others who have posted this scam

Market research They called AGAIN today - 10th Jan 2013 This is a guy that phones on a regular basis, with kids screaming in the background, and a television blaring at the same time. In his south scottish accent, he tries to calmly spurt out the "hello, I m so and so and doing some market research". By this time, I ve hung up.
