I received a private phone call from someone called Shahid regarding a visa application form. I *have* submitted evidence for a relative of mine and included my mobile number, but I felt uneasy answering any questions out of the blue, especially as this person expected me to tell him who the visa is for (surely you should be telling *me*?). I was curious of this number previously but have now related it to my house alarm which is set up to text me when there is a fault/activation of my house alarm. Every month an automated check is done on the phone line (hence the 61p charge on my bill) to check the system is still working ok and able to then text when required. A small price to pay I guess for piece of mind when having an alarm system, but unfortunately something my alarm fitter forgot to mention when installing it!

Someone called Rose Mark, trying to buy a new xbox from me. Said she'd sent payment but I received an email from 'Natwest' saying the funds would go into my bank once I sent a tracking number. I rang my bank, it's a scam. The email came from [email protected] when I confronted her with what my bank had advised her WhatsApp profile disappeared!
