Number called me this morning and hung up on answering
I asked who was calling, and they didn't answer, launching into some prepared speech that I'd be receiving something in the mail in two to three days about taxes. I suspect it was scam of some sort, but just told them I couldn't hear them properly and hung up.
Automated system about having an accident. Got through to a operator and when I asked to speak to a supervisor they hung up.

Scammers!!!! They called my grandmother regarding a PPI claim, telling her in order to claim she would need to put £400 on a travel card (this was their agency 'commission' apparently), and they would come to her home (beware, they already knew her address) to exchange the travel card for her "PPI compensation cheque". Thankfully we've taught her well and she called me first to ask if I thought it was a scam.
