Continually calling my mobile, claiming to be SC Legal based in Manchester, but number showing in my caller display (01444) is area code for Haywards Heath, West Sussex. Phone calls encourage me to claim compensation following a vehicle accident. Despite telling them I have no cause to claim compensation they refuse to remove my number from their calls list. Have lodged complaint with my insurers as SC Legal seem to have access to the National Database used by Insurance Companies. Be cautious as clearly

So I stated he was a scam trying to get my details and he hung up on me...Well if that isnt a clear indication that they are up to no good, I dont know what is. English sounding girl calling from she claimed to be Britains biggest Domestic Insurance company. She put the phone down immediately after I said "Excuse me, who are you?". She knew my name which surprised me. And I say "But, ..." and she put the phone down. No UK Insurance company will cold call you or put the phone down.

Fraud Pretending to be HSBC. Knows name of recipient and informs them £600 is being transferred from your account overseas. Caller then tries to obtain your telephone banking security number by asking for the first "four" digits. This is followed by them saying it's not correct and wanting the last four digits. They then have your name, telephone number and security number and can empty your bank account

They want to know if you are a home owner ect purveying to save people money whom you leave your estate to when you have left this world. What they really want is to making money for there company.

The well spoken, but recorded voice, told me that two suspicious transactions had been noted on my account (no introduction as to who she represented) and that I should take one of two actions. Either press "1" to cancel them or "2" to speak to a service advisor. I left the call open for ten minutes but there was no further communication from the caller. Why Bridgend exchange? I have no idea.
