Nuisance caller when I tried to ring them back to ask them to stop pestering us I couldn t get through to them. As I was completing this the phone rang again. I tried to explain that we didn t want calls from them. The bloke said "with all due respect mate we ve never rang you before". What a shithouse even though I told him we have been plagued by them. This number was a representative from a Greenpeace call agency. I checked with Greenpeace to validate this call and they confirmed it. They were asking for a direct debit payment after acquiring my number from a petition I signed. The service was friendly and informative and not malicious unless you don't like charity pressure calling.

Phone automatically blocked the number but on phoning it back got a very apologetic message basically saying the number had been hijacked by foreign scammers and that the matter was in the hands of ofcom, just block the number and give absolutely no information whatever to them as it could be used for identity fraud.

Fraud Received a message from this number stating it’s from Vodaphone and that ‘we are unable to process your latest payment. In order to avoid fees please update your information via...’ then it gave a link to an https address (looked like Vodaphone but too much else to be valid, I think). I haven’t progressed this, I don’t have anything outstanding with Vodaphone, but just be aware. I will be forwarding this to Vodaphone’s phishing area.
